T.Y. Lin International Group (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that its Singapore office, T.Y. Lin International Pte. Ltd., was recently appointed by PPC An Thinh Danang Joint Stock Company to provide the civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical design for their latest venture, Anh Duong-Soleil Danang, a five-star hotel and luxury apartment complex project in Da Nang, Vietnam. TYLI is responsible for the concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for the $446.7 million project.
“We are delighted to be involved in the delivery of this prestigious project in Da Nang with PPC An Thinh Danang Corporation,” said Teh Hee Seang, Chairman of TYLI’s Singapore operations. “T.Y. Lin International has an excellent track record worldwide in the delivery of high-rise developments. Based on this, we have an in-depth working knowledge of international engineering standards for the private residential and hospitality industry. Our local team in Vietnam will draw on this knowledge to lead the delivery of the project, and will be supported by the wider T.Y. Lin International network of professionals.”
Located within close proximity of Vietnam’s famous My Khe beach, and adjacent to the arterial road of Vo Nguyen Giap and Pham Van Dong, the 233,577-square-foot, coral-inspired mixed-use development consists of two 58-story residential towers and two 47-story towers for residential use and the hotel. The development also includes other amenities, such as a gym, a spa, swimming pools, game rooms, a dance studio, an art gallery, function rooms, retail shops, and more.
To support the successful delivery of this fast-track project, the TYLI design team will work very closely with the contractor and the architectural team during the design phases. The team is focused on preempting and minimizing construction stage risks through the design process, as well as optimizing constructability. The Anh Duong-Soleil Danang development will be delivered on a phased basis up until 2021, with the first phase to be completed by the end of 2017.
